KL-001contributed to the Army Ballistic Missile Agency (ABMA) and later to NASA, where he served at both Marshall Space Flight Center and Kennedy Space Center (KSC). At KSC, he held the role of Assistant Center Director for Instrumentation, overseeing critical systems that supported rocket launches.
